Beyond the hill station

Daringbadi has long been known for its cool climate, hills and forest landscapes. For many visitors, however, the experience of the destination is often limited to a checklist of viewpoints and attractions.

Odisha Walks Daringbadi was developed to create a different way of engaging with the region.
The project looks beyond the idea of Daringbadi as a hill station and explores the wider landscape that surrounds it. Forests, plantations, villages, local food and everyday life become part of the visitor experience.

The objective was to encourage people to spend time in the destination rather than simply move through it.

Through carefully designed trails and experiences, visitors are introduced to the geography and character of the region, creating a stronger connection between the destination and the people experiencing it.
